The City of Ashland has purchased the 5.52-acre vacant parcel adjacent to Chautauqua Trace (on the west side of our property). The Parks and Rec Department is now in the design phase to develop a park. This park may include a children’s playground, a dog park, a community garden, water features, sport courts, etc. You are being offered an opportunity to participate in the planning and contribute input.
When: Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Ashland High School Science Building
What: Following a brief presentation, participants will be divided into working groups to view the site plan and play with design elements. Subgroups will have the opportunity to present ideas to the full group.
This project could impact our neighborhood significantly. It would be ideal if Chautauqua Trace neighbors could be present. If you plan to attend please contact Larry Smith at (714) 316-4560 so we can organize and coordinate.
